PAINT OUT
Artists of all abilities are invited to participate in the first annual Umpqua Plein Air Event, “Location, Location, Location”
Artists will have a limited time period on Thursday, July 14, in which to create original works of art and return their completed and framed works to UVAA. The paintings will be juried by Mitch Baird, a nationally recognized Oregon Plein Air Painter. Included events are a catered dinner, non-competative paint outs, demos and lectures. The event culminates with an opening public reception, Friday evening, July 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at UVAA where the fresh paintings will be displayed and awards and cash prize will be presented. The exhibit will continue through September 9, 2011.
